Octopath Traveler 2 is coming to Xbox One and Series X next year

The characters in Octopathic Traveler 2 will venture to new platforms in 2024, with Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions confirmed. Square Enix made the announcement at TGS 2023. In addition, the already available PC version will also appear in the Microsoft Store at this time. This means it will be available on all major platforms next year.
As a reminder, Octopathic Traveler 2 released in February 2023 on Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC. It features eight playable characters with their own storylines. New to this episode are some storylines where two party members go on an adventure together after you’ve recruited both of them. All characters have tasks associated with them, and you can combine them to create an ideal party for your needs. There are also some additional jobs you may come across as you travel around the world.
To coincide with the new reveal, Square Enix has released another trailer for the role-playing game. It features both story sections and its turn-based combat system.
