Olivia Rodrigo addresses speculation that her song ‘Vampire’ is about feuding with Taylor Swift!

Olivia Rodrigo finally addressed their rumored feud Taylor Swift… somehow.

As you know, there have been rumors for a while that the buddies have fallen out. Fans noticed their friendship faltered when Olivia faced copyright issues on her album Sourwhich forced her to name the 33-year-old singer as a co-writer Déjà-vu due to similarities to the song Cruel summer.

But it wasn’t just songwriting credit that seemed to ruin their friendship! The last nail in the coffin appeared to be when Taylor got close to him Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia’s alleged rival. She even brought the 24-year-old into play as the opener The Eras Tour! The same tour Olivia hasn’t been on! Uff. Adding fuel to feud speculation? Fans believe their song vampire was about Miss Swift and rumored to be, and specifically referenced the line: “Bloodsucker fame fever bleed me dry like a goddamn vampire.” Listen to the song (below):

What does Olivia say about the fan theory? Well, she opened up about the feud speculation in a new interview with The guard! The actress told the outlet that she was “very surprised when people thought” the title was about Taylor. But on the inside, she wasn’t exactly denying the split rumors! Instead she said:

“How do I answer that? I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I’ve never done that in my career and probably never will. I think it’s better not to pigeonhole a song that’s about that one thing.”

How vague of you, Miss Olivia!
