Olivia Wilde opted for an all-white ensemble on Friday while attending a screening of her newly premiered film Don’t Worry Darling in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old director appeared in high spirits as he took the stage at the cinematic event, despite facing a recent spate of controversy.
Just days earlier, the mother-of-two hit back at circulating claims that she was cheating on her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis with her new boyfriend Harry Styles – branding the rumors “horse**t”.

Don’t Worry Darling premiered last week during the Venice Film Festival and received a mixed bag of reviews.
Florence Pugh and Harry Styles star as a 1950s couple who find themselves ensnared by a cult in their idyllic town
But it was the drama that grabbed the headlines, including Olivia’s relationship with lead actor Harry Styles – who plays the character Jack Chambers.
The couple went public with their romance in January 2021 while filming for the new release was underway.
It happened just two months after Olivia’s relationship with seven-year fiancé Jason ended – and rumors began circulating that there was an overlap between the two relationship timelines.
Drama: In addition to her complicated love life, her latest project, Don’t Worry Darling, has been the center of gossip, from her alleged on-set affair to “baseless rumours” that she’s falling out with her leading lady, Florence Pugh (pictured). this week at the premiere)
“We raised two children during lockdown so we’ve been parenting this time together. When it became clear that living together was no longer beneficial for the children, it became a responsibility not to do it because as friends living in different houses we could be better parents,” Wilde explained of ex-Jason Sudeikis; 2020 seen
But the director-actress – who graced the cover of Vanity Fair this week – shut down all cheating allegations – and reassured her and Jason’s relationship was over “long before” she and Harry got romantic.
She told the publication, “Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road and we officially ended the relationship at the beginning of the pandemic.
“We raised two children during lockdown so we’ve been parenting this time together. When it became clear that living together was no longer beneficial for the children, it became a responsibility not to do it because, as friends living in different houses, we could be better parents,” Wilde explained.
Despite an initial amicable split, her former partner raised eyebrows for delivering the house actress the custody papers on stage at CinemaCon 2022 in front of 4,100 film industry executives in April.
No crossover: Responding to public speculation that she was unfaithful to her longtime partner, the director insisted that her “relationship” began well before meeting pop star Harry Styles (pictured) on the set of Don’t Worry Darling was over
“So many people were shocked on my behalf,” she said. “Unfortunately, I wasn’t that shocked. There’s a reason I didn’t stay in this relationship. Unfortunately, that was consistent with my experience of the relationship. So I was probably the least shocked.’
Still, she admitted the incident had left her “deeply saddened — and in many ways disturbed.”
While Wilde believes Sudeikis wanted to “disrupt” her appearance, an insider close to him told the publication he “didn’t know when or where the papers would be delivered and would never condone such a turn of events.”
Coming soon: Don’t Worry Darling, out next month, follows Florence Pugh and Harry Styles as a 1950s couple who find themselves entangled in their idyllic town with a cult
Olivia shares her two children, Otis, eight, and five-year-old Daisy, with Jason, who met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 2011.
But amid the drama surrounding Olivia’s love life, the filmmaker has also been hit by rumors of a feud with Don’t Worry Darling lead actress Florence Pugh.
In an attempt to refute those claims as well, she continued to Vanity Fair, “Florence’s performance in this film is amazing. It just amazes me that the media would rather focus on unfounded rumors and gossip, overshadowing her profound talent.”
“She deserves more than that. As does the film and everyone who worked so hard on it,” the filmmaker clarified.
Olivia and Jason (seen with their children in February 2020) were in a relationship for almost a decade from 2011 to 2020 and she believes her children are the victims of it all as she said: “The only people who have suffered , were my children. because they need to see this, and they should never need to know that this happened
