Variant Covid-19 Omicron is threatening to derail the fitness industry’s early recovery and frustrated retail homeowners who had hoped gyms would be a strong source of demand in early 2022.
Some states and cities, including New York, Boston and Chicago, have implemented mask recommendations and vaccine mission for indoor activities including gyms to protect people from the dominant variant of the coronavirus in the US.
