One was killed in an early morning accident on the Snyder
A fatal accident caused the Gene Snyder to come to a stop early Sunday morning. LMPD reports that a pickup truck with two people inside was traveling east on Gene Snyder when a driver lost control and struck an unoccupied vehicle in the shoulder. EMS reported that the passenger died at the scene. Emergency services took the driver to University Hospital with serious injuries. LMPD continues to investigate this accident, which occurred Sunday morning just after 3 p.m. The eastbound lanes of Gene Snyder near Beulah Church are closed while crews clear the wreckage from the crash.
