Overwatch 2 reveals the new tank hero Ramattra coming with Season 2

The leader of Null Sector is coming to Overwatch 2 next month

Today, Blizzard Entertainment is hosting the Overwatch League Grand Finale and unveiling the next hero to be added to Overwatch 2.

The reveal was made with the usual Origin Story animated trailer, which offers a look at Ramattra’s backstory.

He is the leader of the Null Sector and fights to protect the omnics from humanity.

It was originally created as a war machine, but then took the path of peace to encourage coexistence with humans.

Unfortunately that didn’t last. Faced with intolerance and violence, Ramattra reverted to his old ways, choosing to defend his people at all costs, even if it meant embracing violence again.

He enjoys strong support among the remaining omnics and is willing to do anything to impose his views on the world, no matter the cost.

Ramattra is a tank and is added to Overwatch 2’s roster at the start of Season 2 on December 6, 2022.

More information on Season 2 has been promised and will be provided shortly.
