Pakistan PM faces fall after court backlash

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Pakistan’s top court ruled Thursday that Prime Minister Imran Khan acted unconstitutionally when he dissolved Parliament to avoid a vote of no confidence and gave lawmakers the opportunity to vote him out of office.
The court said the legislature could vote on Mr Khan’s future on Saturday. Opposition politicians said they had the numbers to oust him. If Mr Khan loses, Parliament would elect a successor.
