Wolves believe Ruben Neves will leave the club this summer due to interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolves played their final home game of the season on Sunday afternoon, drawing 1-1 at home to relegated Norwich City.

Rayan Ait-Nouri saved a point for Wolves, whose form continues to leave fans disappointed.

Just three points from their last six games has been frustrating and Wolves have disappeared from European competition.

That now leaves Wolves open to the loss of midfielder Neves, who may want Champions League football at 25.

The Wolves players completed their usual full-time lap of honor after playing their final home game of the season.

Neves looked particularly emotional and swelled as he left the field, leaving some worried that he was about to say goodbye.

Neves has spent five years at Wolves and while fans chanted that they would ‘riot’ if the midfielder were sold, a summer move could happen.

This is now reported by the Birmingham Mail that the people behind the scenes at Wolves think Neves has now played his last home game for the club.

Wolves would want more than £60m although any deal would be quite expensive for Neves.

Arsenal and Tottenham linked with Neves

Neves will not be short of Premier League suitors Sky Sports claims in April that Arsenal have him at the top of their wish list.

90Min have since reported that Tottenham are also in the running for Neves, with Antonio Conte keen on signing a new midfielder.

This will almost certainly depend on Champions League qualification.

Arsenal and Tottenham are battling for fourth place in the Premier League and it will go down to the last matchday.

Neves are unlikely to join a club without Champions League action and clubs are unlikely to pay £70m themselves without playing in Europe’s top competition.

Wolves appear to think Neves will be on the way out and next week could determine his target.
