Periods of rain and storms are ahead

A cordon will remain in place over the area for the remainder of the work week and part of the weekend. We expect rainfall and storms to occur along and south of the border. Due to cloud cover and rain activity, temperatures will drop slightly. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s while overnight lows will fall into the upper 60s. This setup will remain in place until at least Sunday. It won’t rain all the time, but your outdoor plans may be affected at times. High pressure will return and build over the region early next week. This creates the conditions for sunny and dry conditions. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s with highs and nighttime temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s. The air will be drier and that should give us a few days of pleasant weather until the middle of next week.
