Perry County’s retro 1950s drive-in theater reopens for the 2023 season

DUNCANNON, Pa. (WHTM) — A vintage 1950s-style drive-in restaurant, Red Rabbit is set to reopen for the 2023 season in the coming weeks.
Red Rabbit is a family business founded in 1964 by Sam & Maggie Snyder and is located at 60 Benvenue Road, Duncannon. According to their website, Retro Red Rabbit offers their customers a unique throwback experience — they offer “car hop services” that allow you to either eat in your car in the parking lot, eat outside at one of their picnic tables, or take the food home with you.
Red Rabbit has plenty of tasty old-school dining options on offer Menusuch as:
- The bunny burger
- Bunny Pollinated Fries
- Ham & Pork BBQ
- Handspun milkshakes
- sundae and much more!
According to their website, Red Rabbit closed on November 20, 2022 for the 2022 season but is scheduled to reopen on Friday February 3 for the 2023 season.
Red Rabbit opening hours are:
- Friday – Sunday // 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m
