Philadelphia shooting: 4 suspects chase 18-year-old man in Frankford, police say

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are searching for four suspects who fired at least 60 shots while pursuing an 18-year-old man in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Police were called to the 4700 block of Frankford Avenue around 10:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators said the scene extended to the 4700 block of Salem Street.

The victim was shot at least once in the leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Several cars were also hit by shots.

The four armed men fled the scene.

Police are looking at surveillance footage to identify the suspects.
