PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Matt O’Donnell interviewed two 15-year-old students from the Philadelphia Youth Violence Group’Enough is enough: Students Against Gun Violence‘.

George Lanea freshman from Sankofa Liberal Academy Charter School and Cayla Waddingtonsophomores from the Charter School of Mathematics, Citizenship, and Science, candidly discussed the issues, fears, and concerns they have around the escalating gun violence in their community. surname.

They surveyed 1,300 young city residents in grades 7 through 12 about their concerns about violence.

Matt shared the findings of their survey, in which 63% said they were worried about the safety of their family and friends.
