Many superstar athletes are golfing at the American Century Championship tournament in South Lake Tahoe this weekend, including Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. While celebrity interjections are expected, it was almost impossible for fans to handle seeing Allen pose for a photo with Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.

Allen, a Northern California native, celebrated the Warriors winning the 2021-22 NBA championship. He shared tweets applaud their title victory and the team’s victory parade.

The combined awesomeness of Curry, the finals MVP, posing for a picture with Allen, who is looking to win his first Super Bowl championship of the season, caused quite a stir on social media.

USA Today reporter Bradley Gelber tweeted“2 “, while a fan Written“I can’t believe this is real lifešŸ¤ÆšŸ˜.”

On the Bills’ official Instagram page, the photo garnered more than 31,000 likes in less than two hours. “OH MY GOD!!!! MY HEROES IN ONE PIC! GIVE ME !!!!!!!!!!” one fan wrote in the comment section.

Many people have commented on their height difference, as Curry looks almost as tall as Allen in the photo. However, the Bills superstar is 6 foot-5 while Curry’s is 6 foot-2. Other fans pointed out their similar draft picks. Curry, 34, was the 7th overall pick from the 2009 NBA Draft while Allen, 26, was the 7th overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft.

Allen Named ‘The Scariest QB’ in the NFL

While Allen has a long way to go to match the level of success of four-time NBA champion Curry, the potential is there. Last season, Allen threw 4,407 yards and 36 touchdowns, and with an upgraded strike line and new weapons in the studio, he’s looking for another breakout year.

According to Fox Sports 1 analyst Emmanuel Acho, Allen is the undisputed #1 “feariest QB” in the NFL, ahead of Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ‘Tom Brady, Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and Green Bay Packers ‘Aaron Rodgers.

Allen “is scary because he’s a collection of all these guys on the list,” Acho said. ā€œHe can be in that perfect coverage, and Josh Allen will zoom that ball right next to you. Or he can snap and run on that joint. And then worse, [he’s] big enough to carry you if you sleep. 6 feet-5, 240 . tall [pounds] – If you were to sit here and try to squat down and make a tackle, you might end up lying on your back. “

“You’ve seen him tackle some defenders,” Acho continued, noting that “he can embarrass you with his legs and arms.”

In fact, the word “scary” when describing Wymonin alum has become a popular term this holiday season. Former Bills esteemed Ryan Fitzpatrick appeared on Rich Gaenzler’s “Bull in the Basement” podcast on June 2, in which he discussed the growing fear surrounding Allen.

“He keeps getting better and better every year, which is a really scary thought,” Fitzpatrick said.

ā€œI think we can all remember he used to be a 50 or 52 passer… 55% a few years ago and now, he’s absolutely deadly. Accuracy, decision making. … He looks bigger and different from anyone else on the field. The pair that guys would love to play with and play for him, that’s a pretty good combination there. “

Allen finished the 2021 season with a 63.3% completion rate, according to Professional Football Reference.

The biggest question mark regarding Allen is what he would do without Brian Daboll

Brian Daboll, Josh Allen

The discussion of where Allen would be without former offensive coordinator Brain Daboll, and how Daboll would rise to head coach of the New York Giants without an elite quarterback leading the team, was one X-factor for both men heading into the 2022 NFL season.

Pro Football Focus analyst Sam Monson tweeted on June 16, ā€œIf Josh Allen had never had that happen, Brian Daboll’s resume would have looked very different. & I don’t think it’s clear who or what is primarily responsible for Allen’s growth. This is a tweet, but it struck me today as I look back at his career. “

NFL Draft analyst Joe Marino believes the credit goes beyond just Allen and Daboll. Marino tweeted, ā€œThe reaction is boring but I believe the person most responsible for Josh Allen’s growth is Josh Allen. He takes the areas he needs to be better and makes it happen. Daboll, McDermott, Beane and Jordan Palmer deserve a lot of credit but Josh himself gets the most credit by IMO.ā€

One Cover 1 The sports presenter used an external example in his argument. He tweeted, ā€œIf Tom Brady never happened, Bill Belichick’s background would look very different. & I don’t think it’s clear who or what is primarily responsible for Brady’s growth. This is a tweet, but I just realized his career today. “
