Local residents said they heard what they initially thought was fireworks in the middle of the night.
A resident, who asked not to be named, said she heard a gunshot around 1:05 a.m.
“At first I thought it was fireworks,” she said.
“But I later went out to get some bread and milk from the shop and saw all the police so I knew something serious had happened.
“I know the woman who was killed and she lived at the address with her father for years.”
