Twitch streamer and gamer Destiny has once again been banned from the platform.
Streamers being temporarily banned from Twitch are common these days.
Even the platform’s crown jewels – Pokimane, Ludwig, xQc, and Amouranth – have recently received bans that have lasted anywhere from three to four days, or up to a week.
Destiny is no stranger to twitch bans either. This time, however, it’s not clear if his ban is permanent or temporary.
Destiny is banned from Twitch again
Destiny, aka Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, was banned again on Wednesday March 23, 2022.
Neither the star himself nor Twitch revealed why action was taken against him.
If you visit Destiny’s Twitch account, you will Land on a side that says: “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of the Twitch Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
A look at the streamer’s previous bans
It’s no secret that Destiny can be a polarizing figure on Twitch.
Keenly interested in both politics and gaming, the streamer isn’t afraid to talk about difficult and controversial topics.
He spent a a good chunk of his early streaming career Playing video games such as star ship and League of Legends.
After him, however, he gained popularity outside of Twitch’s gaming circles streamed a political debate with JonTron in 2016. Since then, Destiny’s content has evolved to include political commentary, debate, and much more.
At the time of writing, Destiny got banned Twitch at least six times, the first time in 2018.
He was banned again in 2020 and twice in 2021, while his current ban is his first this year.
