Prince Harry’s book is flying off the shelves in St. Helens

LOVE him or hate him, St Helens readers have rushed to buy Prince Harry’s book Spare.

The book, in which the Duke of Sussex made some startling revelations, hit shelves on Tuesday but St Helens readers have been rushing to the shops to buy it since then.

In the book, he reveals secrets and stories about many members of the royal family, such as Prince William, the Prince of Wales and Queen Consort, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Media backlash has criticized the necessity of the book’s content, where many others around the world applaud his courage for sharing his side of the story.

Nik Lowe, manager of The Book Stop, said: “We have ordered 13 books and nine are already gone. As we are an independent bookshop we can only imagine what is sold in the supermarkets.

“It retails for £28 which is a lot so I wasn’t sure how popular it would be but it was really popular and a hot topic of conversation too.

“Love him or hate him, it gets people talking. Especially with the speculation in the media about certain aspects of what he is said to have written.

“I would say people in this town are really quite 50/50. Some have been very supportive.” Prince Harry’s book is flying off the shelves in St. Helens
