“I think that’s a rumor that his team spread,” laughed Lindsay. “I mean, he has a podcast to promote. It’s something to talk about, you know what I mean.”

“There’s no way. They’ve been through so much with the fallout,” she added via the network. “No way would they have these conversations.”

Harrison’s exit from “The Bachelor” franchise came after an explosive ExtraTV interview with former “Bachelorette” star Lindsay in February 2021, in which he defended contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s past racially insensitive behavior.

After taking some time off work, Harrison launched his podcast in January 2023, “The most dramatic podcast ever.” During a February 2023 episode, he discussed the success of his new venture and hinted that ABC executives “saw the numbers” his podcast is bringing in.

Harrison also spoke a tabloid report THas claimed ABC executives are having ‘internal talks’ to bring him back.

“[The report said] There are internal discussions going on with ABC executives about bringing me back,” Harrison said. “You’ve seen what’s happening, so I’m shocked these talks are happening? No. It wouldn’t be a surprise. In fact, I’d be shocked if they didn’t happen.”

Harrison also stated there that if ABC called, he would “have this conversation.”

Elsewhere on Watch What Happens Live, Lindsay was asked what she thought of Bachelorette seasons, which featured two Bachelorette stars vying for the same group of men.

“I mean, I don’t watch the show anymore” she admitted. “So for me it’s like, right, you can have five bachelorettes, I don’t care at this point.”

In 2020 Lindsay versus the “Higher Learning” podcast that she no longer wanted to be associated with The Bachelor franchise. “I can’t take it anymore,” she said at the time. “I’m kind of contractually bound. But when the time comes, so am I. I can not anymore.”

And weeks before he admitted he would take a call from ABC, Harrison said in his podcast that he only misses the people he worked with on The Bachelor, but not his role in the TV dating franchise itself.

“The whole show, no. I don’t [miss it],” he said. “This ship has sailed, and it has been wonderful. I don’t say that with bitterness. There is a time and a space for all relationships.”
