Rachel McAdams makes her Broadway debut in Mary Page this spring – The Hollywood Reporter

Rachel McAdams will make her Broadway debut in Amy Herzog’s play Mary Jane this spring.
The Notebook And Doctor Strange Star will appear in the world premiere of the play directed by Anne Kauffman (The sign in Sidney Brustein’s window), which is scheduled to begin April 2, 2024 at the Manhattan Theater Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theater.
The play by Herzog, which was recently adapted A dollhouse for Broadway with Jessica Chastain, had its world premiere at the Yale Repertory Theater in 2017 and later performed Off-Broadway at the New York Theater Workshop. The play is about a single mother who struggles through “an impossible family situation” with optimism and humor, as well as the help of the women around her, the production says.
Additional casting, an opening date and the creative team for Mary Jane will be announced at a later date.
McAdams takes on the role after appearing in films such as: Are you there, God? It’s me, Margaret, game night, disobedience, Headlight, Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows , Wedding Crashers and many more, as well as TV Foles Dave And True detective.
