The Las Vegas Raiders haven’t made any moves in the dark this season despite links to a few big names. The most notable addition they made was trading Yannick Ngakoue to the Indianapolis Colts for Rock Ya-Sin. The former second-round player chose to be one of the favorites to take the starting spot at the corner.
Trayvon Mullen’s injury now will only help his chances. The Raiders need him as a good player if they hope to be able to fight in the AFC West. If he fails, it is not due to lack of effort. Ya-Sin has been praised for his work ethic since joining the team. Defensive finish star Maxx Crosby met Ya-Sin as they trained together to prepare for the NFL Combine ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft. They have maintained a relationship ever since. Crosby is happy to have Ya-Sin as his teammate and revealed some strong thoughts about the full-back.
“Ever since I met him, he has always been one of the hardest workers in the gym,” says Crosby, according to Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We kept the relationship and obviously when we got him I called him right away. He was a great teammate and I saw him in the building every day. I want to have him. He’s quiet, but he has personality. He’s just a great prince. “

Ya-Sin reveals about being traded
Players don’t always want to be exchanged after three years with a team. Ya-Sin started out as an important Colts player but was dropped with Ngakoue. However, Ya-Sin never had any bad feelings about being dealt with. He reveals his thoughts on trading to Las Vegas.
Ya-Sin told the media after a recent training camp practice, “I’m so excited to be here working with these men and playing for an organization like this one here. “This is exciting, that’s how I feel. I mean, I’ve carried that feeling since that day and until now, I’m happy to be here. Excited to work and get better and be around these people and learn from these people and just keep growing.”
Ya-Sin learns to defend
Ya-Sin is leaving a dense defensive area in Indianapolis to replace a dense defense protecting the man under the defense of Patrick Graham. That must be good news for him as he has proven to be the better one in the men’s coverage. He was asked what he was focusing on in training camp and he was putting a lot of effort into understanding Graham’s defense.
“First of all, learning to defend, learning different terms, and continuing to get better at walking and changing directions, all the little things that DBs consistently do throughout their careers. you and keep improving and better honing your tools. Just keep getting better overall as a player. “
Graham is a coach who loves to provide defensive support to his players, which should make things easier for players like Ya-Sin.
