Azealia Banks raised eyebrows over the weekend after boasting about how wealthy she is on social media just hours after her Melbourne show was canceled due to visa issues.
The 212 hitmaker, 31, posted a photo to Instagram showing her sitting on a bench at a club while looking at her smartphone.
The New York-born rapper looks effortlessly stylish at first glance, wearing an unbuttoned zebra print jacket over a beige crop top, jeans and leather boots.

It wasn’t long before many of her 10,000 followers clapped back at Azealia’s gloating after she disappointed thousands of Melbourne fans.
A cheeky follower asked if she was “rich enough to get an Australian visa”. and another said to stop “harassing fans.”

It comes after she left her Australian fans devastated after she canceled her show in Melbourne at the last minute on Saturday night.
The American rapper pulled the plug at her Festival Hall concert just hours before she was due to take the stage, with promoter Point Blank Productions blaming “visa issues”.
In an official statement on Instagram, Point Blank Productions wrote: “It is with great sadness that we announce that tonight’s Melbourne show starring Azealia Banks will not proceed as Azealia’s visa was not granted in time for her performance.”

“The visa has since been issued but flights from Auckland to Melbourne are exhausted to get them to Melbourne in time,” the statement continued.
The promoter also claimed that they are “sounding out a new date in Melbourne” – but Banks has since angrily insisted there will be no second show.
Banks rewrote her promoter’s original statement, writing, “The promoters were reluctant and agreed to provide a number of amenities that were not provided.”

“I’ve been at the airport since 7 a.m. There will be no rescheduled show in Melbourne and I will be paid in full [the promoter’s] Fuck it all.’
She added: “Apologies to the fans who bought tickets but there will be no rescheduled show. I have s**t to do.’
However, Banks’ upcoming shows in Sydney and Brisbane will go ahead as planned.
Melbourne ticket holders have the option of a refund or transfer of their ticket to a new show in Melbourne, to be announced.
Banks tweeted that she was being “paid in full” for the canceled show and told fans it wouldn’t be rescheduled as she had “nothing to do.”
