Raquel Leviss opens up about James Kennedy’s new relationship

Raquel Leviss shared her feelings on James Kennedy’s new romance.

Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy ended their relationship in December 2021 and called off their engagement just seven months after Kennedy got on one knee.

“After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we had two different goals and made the decision to break off the engagement. We love each other very much, but we don’t love each other anymore,” Leviss said captioned an Instagram post on December 5, 2021.

Shortly after the split, Kennedy went public with a new wife. In February 2022, he was spotted kissing the brunette in Vegas. according to page six. Weeks later, the reality star took her on a trip to Tulum. During that trip, Kennedy decided to make things official on Instagram and introduce Ally Lewber to his followers.

“Just the most magical journey I’ve ever had in my entire life, here’s a little slideshow of today’s adventure… Share the dear people! and the positivity! Because life is too short,” Kennedy titled a postshows a few snapshots from the romantic, adventurous escape.

Leviss believes Kennedy moved on “quickly.”

During her meeting with Maloney, Leviss was asked one thing she judges other people by.

“This could be really bad. I condemn you if you have a girlfriend after your engagement is broken off. Literally how many months? A month, no, about four weeks after the engagement broke off, James has a new girlfriend,” Leviss said.

“I mean, this isn’t new to anyone, but I condemn you if you have a girlfriend after your engagement ends — in a month’s time,” she continued.

“It’s fast. It’s okay though,” Leviss added.

Maloney said there should be a “healing process” after a breakup, which Leviss agreed with.

Leviss said she doesn’t judge too harshly because she was the one who ended the relationship

While Leviss wasn’t on board with such a quick turnaround time, she admitted that in some ways she doesn’t blame Kennedy for her moving on.

“I’m not judging too harshly because I was the one who ended things and we all deal with breakups differently. But I feel like being single isn’t a bad thing. I think it’s a great time to relearn who you are and to heal from your past traumas,” Leviss said.

On the podcast, Leviss confirmed she was dating former Vanderpump Rules co-star Peter Madrigal, but she considers herself single – she just hangs out with friends. “I love being alone,” she told Maloney.

Leviss confirmed that she and Madrigal are not “dating” and were just on a “friendly date.” She hasn’t officially moved in with anyone and hasn’t been in any serious relationship since her breakup with Kennedy.

Leviss called this new chapter in her life “scary,” “invigorating,” and “exciting.” Maloney could be referring to this since she split from husband Tom Schwartz and hasn’t been single since 2011.
