Real Housewives star opens up about ‘terrifying’ home invasion

On Thursday November 17, The Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Nicole Sealey and her family experienced a “appalling” ordeal when they were the victim of a violent burglary at their home in Winslow, south of Manchester, England.

Sealey, who has been appearing on RHOCheshire since Season 11 in 2020, was at home with her husband Joe Sealey, a former soccer player, their son and niece. The sun reported. The reality star opened up to the publication about the spooky incident, saying the thieves ended up stealing expensive jewelry, including her wedding ring and three Rolex watches.

“Of course things can be replaced and things were insured, but they just had tremendous sentimental value,” Sealey said, like her wedding ring, her engagement ring and a wedding gift she gave her husband. “It’s clear they were after the jewelry,” she shared. “We never have cash in the house. It was like they knew exactly what they were there for. They were pretty specific.”

According to the statement of Cheshire PoliceThe family was at home when three men broke in at around 8:15 p.m., Sealey said The sun that she and her husband would go to bed early because they were a little shaky.

She said she turned everything off downstairs before bed and “stepped back to blow out a candle when it suddenly sounded like a bomb had gone off in the house.” She described the sound as an “explosion” and said the intruders threw a “concrete thing” through the glass where she had been standing moments before.

“I’m incredibly lucky they didn’t break 10 seconds before,” she shared. “If they did, I don’t think I would be here anymore.” Sealey said they had crowbars and were “chasing” them, and the homeowners and intruders had a “confrontation,” telling the publication that they were feel very happy that no one was injured in the robbery.

Cheshire Police said they were looking for video footage or witnesses of the robbery

Cheshire Police have made a statement because of the aggravated robbery and are looking for possible witnesses and video material. The three men were described as wearing all-black clothing and balaclavas, and had “heavy Mancun accents.” Descriptions of the suspects were provided by authorities:

One of the men was described as about 6ft 1in tall and of stocky build; the second was about 6 feet tall and of athletic build, while the third was described as male[d] as somewhat smaller and of stocky stature.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Joyce said the break-in was an “absolutely appalling incident” and said they were investigating. He also urged businesses to be on the alert and report people who may be trying to sell the stolen goods.

Speaking to The Sun, Sealey opened up about how scary the incident was, telling the publication: “All I can think of is if they broke into an elderly person’s house, they could have given her a heart attack by breaking in was so loud.” She thanked the police for their work on the case.
