‘Real Housewives’ star shadows Ramona Singer over RHONY exit

Fan reactions were mixed after veteran The Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer announced her departure from the franchise after 13 seasons. She shared the news back in November 2022 amid the franchise’s major reshuffle, splitting into a new cast and another “legacy” show.

This week, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore shadowed Singer as she shared it page six that “it was time for her to go.” She then questioned whether Singer had actually left of her own accord, asking, “You think she ‘left’? No ‘housewife’ ever leaves.” At the time of Singer’s exit, the publication reported that she had not been offered a spot on the “Legacy” lineup with other previous fan favorites.

Moore, who has been a main cast member of RHOA for several seasons, will star in the upcoming Fox unscripted series entitled Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The show will feature several celebrities taking part in “some of the toughest and most grueling challenges of the actual special forces selection process.” official description.

Moore said if Singer is looking for a new reality series after Real Housewives, she shouldn’t try Fox’s new show. “Ramona would be kicked out within the first hour,” Moore laughed.

Kenya Moore & Ramona Singer Had Big Feud In Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 1

It’s no surprise that Moore didn’t seem bothered by Singer’s departure from RHONY, given that the two women were particularly at odds during season one of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Singer and Moore appeared in the season, which premiered in November 2021, alongside Cynthia Bailey, Luann de Lesseps, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Kyle Richards.

RHUGT’s inaugural season was filmed at the Triton Luxury Villa in Turks and Caicos, but drama between the two ladies began before they even arrived in the Caribbean. During the flight, Moore asked Singer if she could flirt with another man while married to her now ex-husband, Mario Singer. The singer responded by raising her voice to Moore, “Yes, because I f***ing got divorced, b****!”

Moore asked, “Excuse me? She then told Singer that the language was “unacceptable” and she wouldn’t let Singer call her by that word again on her journey. “I don’t know how shitty you are in New York, but b****, we’re not going to do that.” Singer was disrespectful to Moore on other occasions during the trip as well, repeatedly calling Moore the name of her RHOA nemesis, Porsha Williams.

During her recent interview with page sixMoore went into more detail about appearing on Fox’s new show, saying it had a big impact on her desire to have another child.

The RHOA star shares a 4-year-old daughter with her estranged husband Marc Daly and said she wasn’t sure if she would have a second child. “As soon as I left the show I felt strong,” she spilled. “I thought, ‘I can do this.’ I was so in my head, thinking all the things like, ‘I’m not married anymore, I’m getting older,’ all of that.”

However, when she was filming “Special Forces,” she said she felt peaceful and decided to have another child, either “alone or not.” The show “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” premieres Wednesday, January 4 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time on Fox.
