A Real Housewives star is struggling financially with a divorce.

The Real Housewives of Miami’s Lisa Hochstein is asking for temporary support from her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein, according to court documents obtained by Heavy.

In court documents filed in October 2022, Lisa Hochstein sought her ex’s payment for her legal fees in addition to other costs related to the former couple’s litigation.

“There is no question that the husband is the financial breadwinner and provider of the family. Husband makes millions of dollars every year,” claims Lisa Hochstein in previously filed filings. About a month later, Lisa Hochstein filed additional court documents asking Lenny Hochstein for “temporary assistance” to buy things like diapers for her children.

Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce in May 2022.

“Lisa and I are getting divorced. A few weeks ago I said no because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time and I ask for some privacy so we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.” he told Page Six in May 2022.

Lisa Hochstein has filed an “urgent application” in court

In Miami-Dade County, Fla. court filings dated Nov. 16, 2022, Lisa Hochstein alleges that her husband’s American Express credit card, which she has had access to since 2009, was declined when she went to buy diapers for her children.

“The husband offers the wife no direct assistance other than temporary access to an American Express credit card in the husband’s name, which he threatens to return. He has not transferred any money to the wife’s bank account for several months. Husband canceled wife’s credit card which he was mainly responsible for. The husband even took away the wife’s vehicle and insists she use a two-door to transport the minor children. The husband’s clear strategy is now to force the wife into submission by refusing to provide direct support to the wife or minor children,” the court documents say, in part.

Lisa Hochstein is now asking for “temporary support” for herself and the former couple’s children, son Logan, 7, and daughter Elle, 3.

The Hochsteins have a prenup, although Lisa Hochstein tried to kick him out.
