Real Housewives star Taylor Armstrong announces first film role

Taylor Armstrong embarks on a new career, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG-turned-Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer gave fans a career update on her Instagram page in February 2023.

In her post, the 51-year-old shared a selfie as she posed outdoors in Laguna Beach, California, with a gorgeous sunset in the background. “Watching the California sunset before this Oklahoma girl leaves to shoot my first movie in OKC!” She hashtagged the post #Masterpiece.

Fans reacted to the post, with a font,” Love you girl!!! Enjoy filming your movie!!!”

“Congratulations on the film, Taylor! I can’t wait to see what you’re working on!” another wrote.

Armstrong also announced two photos of her with her luggage as she drove to the airport for her trip from California to Oklahoma. “Up and away,” she captioned the post.

Armstrong is not known as an actress. According to their IMDb page, she only has one acting credit listed and it is for an upcoming role. Under the “Actress” tab of her site, she is listed in a role as Meredith Kyle on “The Squad/Miami”. The project is currently in pre-production. It’s unclear if this is the “movie” Armstrong is referring to or if she is now working on her second acting role.

The Bravo star has many more entries under the ‘Self’ tab on her IMDB page. In addition to her roles on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: The Ex-Wives Club, she also made a brief appearance on an episode of the MTV reality show “The Hills” in 2008.

In a YouTube summary posted by MTV RealityArmstrong is seen meeting The Hills actor Brody Jenner during a night out with his mother, Linda Thompson.

Armstrong is best known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where she starred for three seasons from 2010 to 2013.

While some fans think scenes in The Real Housewives are staged, Armstrong certainly didn’t act during her time on the show. Her tragic personal life was brought to light when she was on the Bravo reality show, and shortly after she filed for divorce from her abusive husband Russell, he committed suicide. per E! News.

In an interview with peopleArmstrong said a friend told her she didn’t even recognize her when she was on the Bravo reality show a decade ago.

“When I was on ‘Beverly Hills,’ a friend called me [during] Season 1 and said, ‘I don’t know who the girl on this show is, but it’s not you. I’ve known you for 20 years and you don’t seem like yourself at all,” she revealed. “I really had so much drama at home with my marriage and the abuse in my life that I didn’t really get a chance to be myself

When continuing the podcast “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef”.Armstrong said she joined the show organically based on her genuine friendship with co-star Adrienne Maloof.

“Adrienne and I were close long before we ever made housewives,” Armstrong told Yontef in July 2022. “Our babies were together in Mommy and Me. And we spent a lot of time together. At our preschool in Beverly Hills, we would go to coffee and, you know, our kids would play together.”
