Realizing that a large group is about to dispose of the store, the woman and child immediately cut a line for the exit

A woman and her child entered a Wawa store in the Mayfair neighborhood of northeast Philadelphia on Saturday night and noticed a large group of teenagers moving about inside. As their voices grew louder, the woman sensed chaos was about to break out and wisely led her daughter out the door.

The video behind the counter shows how quickly the situation escalated. Needless to say, the store was ransacked.

KYW TVwho reported the story turned to the Philadelphia Police Department for more information on this incident, but there were no further updates.

The woman, who quickly left the store, was likely aware that earlier this month a number of Wawa locations had been raided in similar circumstances.

Just three weeks ago, also on a Saturday evening, kyw reported that “dozens of young people searched convenience stores and hit a number of Wawa locations.”

In a Twitter post about the series of incidents KYW’s Joe Holden wrote: “They struck a number of Wawa locations – and police tell me most of their Center City locations have now been closed. I checked two stores – they were closed. Police say an unknown number of youths have been taken into custody.”

Not long ago, this incident would have been a bigger story, even in one City with high crime rate like Philadelphia. Unfortunately, such incidents have become all too familiar to retailers in crime cities.

Is this weekend entertainment for kids in America today? Why not? In the worst case, they will be arrested. They know that in cities like Philadelphia they’ll be released quickly and hit the streets again to join their friends in the next.

The soft crime policy promoted by District Attorneys like Larry Krasner of Philadelphia have allowed crime to spiral out of control. This has led to a dangerous lack of respect for one another in society and for the law, particularly among young people.

But more and more Americans are realizing the tremendous power of these attorneys. The discretionary powers of prosecutors have a direct impact on the criminal justice system—and, in turn, on the lives of citizens.

Is American society worse today than it was ten years ago?

Hopefully voters will see the connection between liberal prosecutors and the rising crime rates in the cities and counties under their jurisdiction and noting the havoc Soros’ silent attack has wreaked on our criminal justice system.

The smart ones will vote for Republicans this November. As a conservative commentator Dan Bonino often reminds us, “Republicans may not be the solution to your problems, but Democrats are certainly the CAUSE of your problems.”
