Renée Zellweger was covered almost from head to toe as she headed to the beach with boyfriend Ant Anstead on Tuesday.

The Oscar winner, 53, and the English TV presenter, 43, were accompanied by their baby son Hudson, two, who he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall.

The idyllic trip to Laguna Beach comes amid Ant’s ongoing custody battle with his ex-wife, Christina Hall.

She wore a blue zip-up hoodie with the hood pulled up and fastened tightly, exposing a small circle of her face.

She also sported the orange peak of a baseball cap, which may have come from her favorite hat for her alma mater, the University of Texas at Austin.

The Bridget Jones Diary star also wore a gray shirt underneath her hoodie, which she paired with slouchy black capri leggings that accentuated her toned legs and burgundy trainers.

Ant was similarly casual for the beach trip in a black t-shirt and gray shorts.

He walked barefoot in the sand, clutching his flip-flops and wearing slim-fitting sunglasses.

On Monday, Ant shared some adorable photos of Hudson as he accompanied his son to his first day of school.

Hudson wore a teal graphic t-shirt and strapped on a royal blue backpack decorated with tiny cars and buses.

In May, a judge ordered the former couple to attend an arbitration hearing on June 15 to try to resolve their custody claims.

Ant had previously accused Christina of being an unfit mother in the documents, and he claimed she had been lax about his and Hudson’s medical safety after returning Hudson to him without informing him that her son was positive had been tested for Covid-19.

‘Then, my partner [Renée Zellweger] was filming her new project and her Covid diagnosis put all production on hold,” he claimed in the April court filing.

He also questioned her suitability as a parent, pointing to her admission that she got high from smoking hallucinogenic Bufo toad venom.

Her drug trip announcement, which she claimed was therapeutic and helped her deal with “years of anxiety,” also reportedly contributed to an earlier explosion on set with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa while she’s her now finished series turned flip or flop.

His request for full custody of Hudson was initially denied, and a judge determined that Christina had not received sufficient advance notice for a rebuttal, so a hearing on the matter was scheduled for June 28.
