Residents of Newton-le-Willows experience a water outage
RESIDENTS in Newton-le-Willows experienced a water outage today, January 23rd.
A leak has been reported on Wargrave Road leaving locals without water this morning.
The outage was reported to United Utilities and is now resolved.
A spokesman for United Utilities said: “A leak has been reported on Wargrave Road and repairs are now complete.
“We apologize for any disruption in delivery during the work.”
Supply is resuming as repairs were completed earlier today.
The Star reported a spate of water outages in the area in recent weeks due to technical problems and freezing weather, with sub-zero temperatures causing pipes to burst.
