He was arrested by District 5 of the Harris County Council on February 17, 2022, and charged with aggravated assault and burglary.

According to court records, Thomas had a felony conviction from 2017 in Grimes County, Texas. He was found guilty of attempting to assault a family member, causing choking. Thomas was sentenced to eight months in prison in that case. Thomas was arrested in Harris County in 2018 on a second-degree charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, but pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault on a family member and was sentenced to one year. prison, records show.
Wells, an attorney for the Harris County DA, told Click2Houston, “In this case, the judge immediately revoked his old bond.
