Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Crystal Kung Minkoff and Sutton Stracke were at odds during the show’s twelfth season, which premiered in May 2022. In Season 12, Episode 6, Stracke shared that she didn’t appreciate Minkoff, referencing a comment she had made as “dark.” She then claimed that the 39-year-old lost friends because of her behavior. During a confessional, Lisa Rinna shared that she was privy to similar information.

“Crystal told me she had a fight with 14 of her friends because she knows I know those girls. I mean, getting dropped by 14 friends is a lot. I don’t even have 14 friends,” Rinna said, laughing.

Former “RHOBH” star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave claimed some of Minkoff’s former friends reached out to her in a June 2022 episode of her podcast. Two Ts In A Pod, co-hosted by RHOC alum Tamra Judge.

During the recording of the “Two Ts In A Pod” episode, Arroyave explained that she and Minkoff were friends before joining the cast of the show in the eleventh season.

“I was the person who recommended her. I’m in one of their friend groups. We’re not best friends by any means, but we’re friendly,” Arroyave explained.

The mother-of-four clarified that she was not part of the group of friends that Stracke claimed no longer communicates with Minkoff. She then shared that people from that friend group had “broadcast her” through Minkoff “for the past two years or so.”

“The people who are there [the group] trying to give me information that I didn’t want because I think there are two sides to every story,” Arroyave said.

She noted that Minkoff was “really heartbroken” about the situation. Arroyave also theorized why she thought the “RHOBH” star was no longer part of the friends group.

“It’s a group of girls, we talk like ‘Beverly’ Hills-type women just not to cameras, and there will be two sides, but in any friend group, people gossip about each other, yes, so I think that’s what happened and how that happens in friend groups, and she said something to someone and then that person outed her to the rest of the friend group,” the former Bravo star said.

She continued that she didn’t have much information about the situation, “other than what [she] came through in DMs.”

“It’s not my place to share, but it’s people saying things,” said the 40-year-old.

Crystal Kung Minkoff opened up about her friendship with Sutton Stracke in June 2022

in one June 2022 Interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Minkoff gave an update on her friendship with Stracke. She shared that she and her “RHOBH” co-star “spend a lot of time together.”

“We probably text at least a few times a week, meet up at least every two weeks. We’re together quite often. And I’m really happy,” Minkoff said.

The mother-of-two then explained that she felt her conflicts with Stracke had deepened their friendship.

“I feel like we’ve been through a lot, we’ve been against each other, we’ve been on the same page against other people at some points and as painful as that is, it actually helps you grow as friends because you’re really learning something — you know, it’s not superficial anymore, while most relationships I find are superficial, sometimes we have to dig deep and sometimes it’s painful, but we get to the other end and it’s been really nice,” said the reality star TV star.
