Kelly Dodd spoke about Heather Dubrow on her podcast
While taping the “Rick and Kelly Show” episode, Dodd stated that she received a message from former RHOC showrunner and producer Thomas Kelly. According to the Bravo alumnus, Kelly shared that he was informed that Dubrow was “getting her due this season.” Dodd then commented that if she were in Dubrow’s position, she would not remain in the RHOC line-up.
“I’m like, ‘Dumb, I’m so glad I’m out of here. Why would Heather want to expose herself to this nonsense? If I were that rich I would ask why? She’s a joke.’ And he says, ‘Seriously, you’re so right. She needs the fame and the attention. It’s a disease for them,'” said the mother-of-one.
Dodd went on to say that she updated her former RHOC co-star Vicki Gunvalson about the situation. As fans know, Gunvalson will appear in the show’s seventeenth season.
“I texted Vicki and said to Vicki, ‘What’s up, Thomas Kelly sent me this.’ And that was Vicki’s response to me: ‘Yes, it’s very sad for me. It doesn’t matter if you want [Dubrow] or not. I’ve seen it first hand. And it makes me sick. You and I have both been through it in the past. If I had her money, there is no way I would expose myself to this abuse,” Dodd said.
The former RHOC star revealed she empathized with Dubrow. She clarified that she believes the host of Seven Year Stitch is “probably the worst person.”
“Listen, Vicki and I know what it’s like to be beaten up, we know what it’s like to be abused, we know what it’s like for people — I’ve been assaulted, she’s been assaulted. This is not fun. It’s a horrible, horrible feeling. It’s the worst feeling ever,” said the reality TV personality.
