Luann de Lesseps is returning for another season of ‘RHONY.’

The Real Housewives of New York“It is currently on hiatus, but it will return, perhaps in 2022, this according to the countess. In an interview with Page SixLuann de Lesseps confidently said that the New York franchise “is not going anywhere.”

The reality TV star admitted that she welcomes the pause in filming for being busy with her pub and what not, but she is certain that the show will continue after the cast change be done. And while there are rumors that de Lesseps won’t be a full-time “Housewife” when the show returns, she seems to be under the impression that she’ll be back all the time.

“I don’t know who stays, who goes, but I’m looking forward to next season. It will be a powerful one,” de Lesseps told Page Six. Furthermore, she said she wouldn’t mind having Eboni K. Williams back. “Even though we didn’t have a reunion, I feel like we’ve landed and ended up in a good place. I’m not against letting her come back. Let’s see what happens,” she said.

Here’s what you need to know:

De Lesseps says the actor subscribed to her on potential new ‘housewives’

While she admits that she doesn’t really have a say in the casting, de Lesseps revealed that casting directors often ask her for her thoughts on potential new “Housewives”.

“Obviously casting is not up to me. Of course, they consider with [me] because I’ve been here a long time,” she told Page Six. “I try to get into things without prejudice like I did on ‘The Last Girls’ Trip.’ I didn’t have any expectations. I just want the full experience. I feel the same way about the casting and I heard they have some great candidates,” she added.

De Lesseps’ comment is certainly interesting, as there have been a lot of rumors about her role in an upcoming season. One of those rumors suggests that de Lesseps would return as a “friend” rather than a full-time “Housewife”. The same rumor claims that Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan will be the only “Housewives” to return when the franchise returns.

Andy Cohen previously denounced COVID for low ratings and said ‘RHONY’ will be back

After the final season of “RHONY” ended without a special reunion, fans wondered if the series would even survive. Combine that with the low ratings and it looks like “RHONY” will be on an indefinite hiatus. And while executive producer Andy Cohen has admitted that they are taking a break from filming, he also said that the franchise won’t be over.

“Is there a shake-up coming? I would say, well, listen, I think we shot this season during COVID and the world closed when we were filming a show – a big part of ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ based on entered New York City as the character on the show, and New York City was closed during production. So we had to spend a lot of time in Ramona [Singer]home and in Salem and just doing things where life might have been different, “Cohen told Entertainment Tonight back in August 2021.

“So I think the show will continue to grow. And I think if anything, we should add to the group, because I think people want to see more people. But I didn’t know that when we were producing this season, we were going to do much differently. Cohen said.

There’s been no word from Cohen on whether de Lesseps will keep her apple on a full-time basis – or at all.
