Ric Flair called the horror match ‘the most amazing’ he’s ever seen

Night one at WWE WrestleMania 38 last night, Charlotte Flair defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey.

The match at WrestleMania didn’t go as many expected, and while many thought Rousey would win, Flair actually left Dallas with the title.

After winning against Flair, Rousey was hit with a large boot by his opponent, causing the match to end.

The match wasn’t bad by any means, but it certainly wasn’t tonight’s game, but Ric Flair seemed to disagree.

Sharing on Twitter, Ric said that Flair v Rousey was “the greatest women’s match” he had ever seen. The Hall of Famer also congratulated the couple for “changing the game”:

What makes this interesting is that a lot of people really enjoyed the Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch match on the show, feeling as though it was the best match of the entire show.

In fact, the chat online at the same time seems to suggest that Flair’s match against Rousey last night wasn’t even the best match the pair have had against each other.

Many fans felt, as they expressed online after the game, that Charlotte and Ronda actually had a better match at Survivor Series in 2018, making Ric’s comments all the more confusing.

Finishing Flair and Rousey’s match will inevitably lead to another matchup at some point in the future, potentially even next month at WrestleMania Backlash.
