Rita Ora smiled as she attended the Notting Hill Carnival in London on Sunday, as the party event returned after two years.

The singer, 31, showed off very leggy in a pink shirt dress with a quirky denim belt cinching her waist as she partied at the event near where she lives in the capital.

She paired the look with a pair of beige boots and a blue shoulder bag with a gold strap that matched her jewelry.

Notting Hill Carnival made a triumphant return this bank holiday weekend after the pandemic ended the colorful street festival for two straight years.

It is the first time since 2019 that Europe’s biggest street festival – which is steeped in British-Caribbean culture – is taking place and it is the 54th carnival since its inception in 1966.

The carnival has its roots in an indoor celebration organized by Trinidadian communist Claudia Jones from 1959 to 1966 in response to the 1958 Notting Hill race riots.

The murder of Up-and-coming Antigua lawyer Kelso Cochrane spurred Rhaune Laslett to organize a street fair for children, which became the first outdoor carnival in 1966 when the popular Russ Henderson Steel Band took part.

The carnival brings hundreds of thousands of tourists to London and is expected to bring in £120million to the London economy.

It comes after the star secretly tied the knot with director Beau Taika Waititi in a private ceremony earlier this month.

A source told The Sun: “It was a really intimate ceremony and very special for everyone there. Your loved ones can see how much they are in love.

“Despite being in the spotlight, Rita is determined to keep the relationship as private as possible and didn’t want to make a big fuss about the wedding.
