Robinhood Shares Raised Takeover Hopes
Robin Hood hero Shares of Markets Inc. surged Monday due to reports that crypto exchange FTX is exploring the possibility of acquiring the brokerage firm.
Shares rose as much as 21% and closed 14% higher at $9.12. Shares, which have been briefly halted by volatility, are down 49% this year and briefly traded at around $80 in August.
