“Rock the Block” Season 3 cast

HGTV’s hit show “Rock the Block” was season three filmed nearby Charleston, South Carolina. Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson from Married to Real Estate emerged as the winning team, while Dave and Jenny Marrs from Fixer to Fabulous, Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb from Unsellable Houses, and Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas from Bargain Block all completed fabulous home renovations over the six weeks of the competition.

This is the second time that Bynum and Thomas’ house has come onto the market Selling for $950,000 in September 2022. The six bedroom, five and a half bathroom home is now trading at $989,900although it doesn’t quite look like it did at the end of the competition.

The current owners have made modifications to the designs by Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas

“Since the show’s debut, the current owners have made subtle but tasteful changes to ‘soften’ the house’s original design,” according to the latest Property Directory reads for Bynum and Thomas’ “Rock the Block” homepage.

The biggest of these changes came in the living room. When they first finished the living room of the house, Bynum was wrote on Instagram that he and Thomas “worked so hard to create a unique and inviting space that feels like it was years in the making rather than a brand new build.” HGTV also wrote of the space, saying, “From a spectacular geometric detail that surrounds the foyer passageway, to curved furniture and an all-encompassing palette of warm, historic tones, every element of the design on the first floor feels intentional and lavish. “

Despite this cordiality, the current owners (who have never lived in the house, according to SFGate) decided to make some key changes before selling the house, including whitewashing the brick fireplace, painting the walls and French doors a cooler off-white, and staging the house with lighter, more angular furniture than Bynum and Thomas had originally used . These color changes also carried over into the home’s bedrooms and bathrooms, with many cabinets being painted over white. The exterior of the home was also changed from a light shade of blue above with brown trim along the porch to a duller shade of blue throughout the home and garage.

He also spoke of the difficulty level of this season as being very high, describing the season as: “It’s a steep climb, but there’s an incredible view at the top.
