Round 2 groupings for Friday

The Players Championship 2023 continues with round two at TPC Sawgrass on Friday. Full start times for Round 2 of the tournament can be found at the bottom of this post.

Recommended grouping for Round 2

This year’s Players Championship comes amid an epic battle for first place in the official golf world rankings.

Current No. 1 Jon Rahm is trying to fend off angry accusations from two other current No. 1s, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

At TPC Sawgrass this week, the trio of Superstars will be grouped together for the first two rounds, and Scheffler was the lowest-performing in Round 1. Having started their opening rounds early Thursday morning at the 10th tee, they will switch to an afternoon tee time. Friday’s second round will start at the 1st hole.

McIlroy, Scheffler and Rahm will tee off at 12:56 p.m. ET on Friday. You can stream Friday’s second round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ or follow the action on Golf Channel.
