Kyiv, Ukraine — Russian forces destroyed the last remaining bridge to Severodonetsk, cut Ukrainian supply lines and attempted to tighten control of the strategic city in the latest setback for Kyiv’s forces in the east of the country.
The governor of the Lugansk region, where Severodonetsk is located, said on Tuesday that Russian forces continued to bomb a chemical plant in the city that provided shelter to hundreds of civilians and soldiers fighting the Russian advance.
