Russia’s Wagner boss reveals huge pile of his mercenaries killed in one day

Putin’s Wagner chief revealed that a vast mob of his mercenaries were killed in just one day as he accused the defense chief of not arming his army enough – a sign of growing divisions within the Russian armed forces.
Open warfare within Putin’s “very battered” armed forces intensified today as Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Wagner’s private army, accused Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu of lying to the Russian people.
He released a macabre image showing the bodies of dozens of militants believed to have been near Bakhmut and been killed in the past 24 hours, claiming the casualties are five times due to the incompetence of top Russian commanders greater.
A statement by the Defense Ministry on the supply of arms and ammunition for pro-Putin struggles is tantamount to spitting in the face, he said.
He has already accused commanders of “treason” for not providing Wagner with the ammunition they need to storm Bakhmut.

Today he went even further and posted a picture of dozens of Wagner corpses.
“This is one of the places where the dead are gathered,” he said. ‘These are guys who died from it yesterday [lack of shells].
“The number should have been five times smaller. Five times. This is how mothers, wives and children will maintain their bodies.
“Who is to blame for her death? Those who should have chosen to provide us with sufficient ammunition.’
He blamed Shoigu and Chief of Staff General Valery Gerasimov directly for their deaths.
“The final signature must be provided by either Gerasimov or Shoigu. Neither of them wants to make a decision.’
Shoigu’s ministry accused Prigozhin of lying and supporting the enemy.
It comes as a prominent Russian Putin watcher claimed the president “looked very unwell” and questioned his “cognitive abilities” in Tuesday’s big speech.
The latest standoff confirms open warfare within Putin’s regular army, which is waged by the Defense Ministry and Wagner, the main private military force he deploys in Ukraine.
Shoigu provided “everything necessary for the volunteers and soldiers of the assault units”.

Shoigu’s ministry accused Prigozhin of lying and helping the enemy (Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is pictured with Putin in 2020).

It comes as a prominent Russian Putin watcher claimed the president “looked very unwell” in Tuesday’s big speech.
Prigozhin’s complaints about the shortage of weapons and ammunition are “completely untrue”.
For two days this week, they “provided 1,660 rockets for multiple-launch missile systems, 1,071 ammunition for large-caliber barrel artillery and mortars, and 980 ammunition sets for tanks,” the ministry said.
“All requests for ammunition for assault units will be fulfilled as soon as possible.
“All in all, last year’s ammunition needs of the assault units were covered by 140 percent of the requests received.”
Shoigu’s ministry slammed Prigozhin – a close ally of Putin who now appears to have fallen out of favor despite his key role in the war – saying: “Attempts to create a rift in close cooperation and support mechanisms between units of the Russian grouping , are counterproductive and only play to the advantage of the opponent”.
But Prigozhin stormed: “The Ministry of Defense is spreading information that it allegedly supplies ammunition to volunteer units [Bakhmut].
“I would like to reiterate that Wagner is under-received 80 percent of the ammunition required for combat missions
‘So the statement by the Department of Defense is nothing but a spit in the direction of Wagner.’
It was an attempt to hide [the ministry’s] Crimes before those fighters who are performing heroic deeds in Bakhmut today.
“There is no ammunition. Sapper Blades have not yet been delivered.
“If you give ammunition, give it to them, don’t tell them in the media and deceive the Russian people.
“Unlike the Department of Defense and its statements, I am ready to provide all documents [to prove this].
“There is only direct opposition, which is nothing less than an attempt to destroy Wagner. This can be equated with high treason.’
Meanwhile, a prominent Putin expert Valery Solovey, a former professor at Moscow’s prestigious Institute of International Relations, said the Kremlin leader struggled in Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
“There was nothing new in terms of content,” he said. “Stylistically there were new things. Putin looked very ill.
“Initially he coughed, then under the influence of medication he stopped coughing.
‘He is usually given [medicine] 40 minutes before and [it] starts working some time later… Also, he has to stick to the script. As soon as he does not follow, he immediately repeats himself.
“It is clear that his cognitive abilities are not very great. He chants the same mantras as a year ago at the beginning of the military special operation.
“No threats and nothing convincing in what he said. It looks pretty unconvincing, weak and disappointing for the Russian elite.”
