Ryan Reynolds was supported by loved ones as he was honored with the 36th American Cinematheque Award on Thursday.
The 46-year-old Hollywood star brought his mother Tammy as a date for the glamorous ceremony, which took place at the Beverly Hilton.
He was also joined at the event by Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney and his wife Kaitlin Olson, as well as fellow Spirited member Octavia Spencer.

Ryan looked dapper as he donned a black velvet suit as he took to the stage to accept the award.
During his speech, he said his focus was on exploring new forms of storytelling when explaining his decision to buy Wrexham FC.
The star of comic book films like Deadpool and Green Lantern made headlines last year when he and fellow actor Rob bought the modest Welsh football team.

Their takeover and subsequent promotion to the fifth-rate team were the subject of the hit documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, the latest in a booming trend of behind-the-scenes sports documentaries.
Sport is real-time storytelling. So I’m happy to apply that to Wrexham,” Ryan said at Thursday’s gala.
“Not only have I fallen in love with Wrexham, I have also fallen in love with the people of Wales. I knew I would hole up in the city, I just didn’t know it would go so deep so quickly.
“It was amazing. It really was one of the great privileges of my life.”

He added: “We live in a world that moves incredibly fast. If you can move at the speed that people talk about when they talk about it, you can move mountains – and that’s sport.”
Ryan was honored with the American Cinematheque Award, an award for mid-career achievement given to a star each year at the event.
Past honorees have included Al Pacino, Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg.
