Saints fans abroad share pictures of enjoying the WCC win
The win marked the first time the Saints had won the World Club Challenge in Australia since 1994 and the first time an English club had won there.
Some lucky fans were in Oz or abroad sharing their pictures and stories.
A St Helens native, Al Broderick, who had lived in Perth for 10 years, traveled to observe Saints, his family and fellow Sintelleners.
His sister Vicky said: “What a fantastic weekend for the Saints and for us to see our brother Al Brod catch up with his beloved rugby team players.
“Al was invented to travel to Sydney to see his beloved rugby team Down Under and meet up with his fellow St Helens.”
A 12-YEAR-OLD rugby superfan enjoyed ‘the best day of his life’ as he celebrated with his heroes on the pitch and in the dressing room after winning the Saints World Club Challenge.
Born in Brisbane to St Helens parents, Harry Hulse is “rugby league crazy” and watches every Saints game while living Down Under.

“I wanted to share some pictures of the win!
“I loved seeing my home team win in Aus and it was amazing to see Saints fans who traveled all over the world for the game!”
One Saints fan, Scott Boothby, couldn’t help but don his jersey to support the team despite being on military deployment in the United Arab Emirates.
