Sam Bankman-Fried faces four more charges over the collapse of his $250 billion exchange, FTX

Disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankham-Friend has faced four more brazen fraud allegations in a new indictment — accusing him of posing as the “savior of the cryptocurrency industry.”

Court documents released Thursday see Bankham-Fried charged with a total of 12 offenses, which now include bank fraud and operating an unlicensed money transmitter.

Prosecutors also accuse him of having a messiah complex and presenting himself as a “savior” and boasting about FTX’s earnings.

This is an evolving story.
