#SaveTF2 start time and rules on May 26th

A peaceful one Team Fortress 2 The protest will take place on May 26th and members of the Save TF2 community have shared the start time and rules.

The protest is in response to the game’s reported issues with a large number of bots. This problem has caused content creators like SquimJim to release videos and reaching publications like IGN hoping to get developer Valve to listen and fix the issue.

When does the Team Fortress 2 protest take place?

The saving TF2 protest for Team Fortress 2 takes place on May 26 at 10:00 am PT, 1:00 pm ET and 6:00 pm BST.

All of the above hours are courtesy of a Reddit Post. It is explicitly called a peaceful action by the community.

At the time of writing, the Reddit post currently has 34,000 upvotes and SquimJim will be participating. Again, the Community Act is a response to the reported issue with bots.

According to a report by gamerant, the problem is so severe that the game has become unplayable for many. The problem is reported to have existed since at least 2020 and all efforts by Valve to fix the issue have been unsuccessful.

Regarding how the game is unplayable, players have reported issues on the casual match servers where an overwhelming number of bots will automatically attack opponents once they spawn outside of their team’s base.

You can participate in the save TF2 Protest on social media and in Team Fortress 2 Community has expressed how to act.

On social media, whether it’s Twitter, Instagram, YouTube or Tik Tok, community members are encouraged to leave a message about how much they love and care about the game. This message must end with #SaveTF2.

No tweets or other direct aggression or harassment should be sent to Valve. The Twitter account TF2OutOfContext has provided visual examples of what is ok and what is not.
