Scheana Shay provides update on Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright Feud

Stassi Schroeder broke ice with Brittany Cartwright nearly a year after they stopped speaking. the feud “Vanderpump Rules” According to their former co-star Scheana Shay, the stars reunited on March 11, 2023 at Lala Kent’s baby daughter Ocean’s birthday bash.

When continuing the Jamie All Over podcast, Shay said she went to the party with Schroeder. The party came days after the Next Level Basic writer announced she’s pregnant with her second child.

Shay also revealed that she saw Schroeder speak to Cartwright despite their long-standing feud.

Shay, Kent, Schroeder, and Cartwright had babies around the same time in early 2021. But Kent’s “Monsters Inc.” themed birthday party was held Ball N Bounce in Los Angeles, wasn’t just for kids.

“Everyone was there,” Shay revealed on the podcast. “Kati [Maloney] was there, dayna [Kaythan] was there Jax [Taylor] was there. The place was big enough that not everyone had to be in the same area at the same time. You know, we chase the kids from the ball pit to the slide… there were a lot of areas.”

Shay added that amid multiple Vanderpump Rules feuds, “everybody wasn’t talking.” “But I’ve spoken to everyone,” she added.

When asked if Schroeder and Cartwright spoke, Shay admitted they did. She added that Schroeder also contacted Cartwright before the party, after Cartwright and her husband Jax Taylor revealed their dog Sophie had died on March 7.

“I saw her talk,” Shay said of the former friends. “I don’t know what they were talking about, but I saw them. I know Stassi reached out when Brittany’s dog died and I know that obviously meant a lot to her.”

“I’m sure it might even have been just a quick exchange of ‘thanks and congratulations,'” Shay added of the duo’s quick conversation. “But my mom and I saw them talking.”

The “Good as Gold” singer added that she’s glad the group came together amid the ongoing drama surrounding the Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss cheating scandal.

“With everything that everyone is going through right now, it’s nice to just be able to have as much quiet as possible,” Shay said. “Right now when we can get together for a 2-year-old and have peace and be heartfelt, that’s so beautiful.”

Brittany Cartwright & Stassi Schroeder had a falling out over Schroeder’s wedding in Italy

It’s been almost a year since Schroeder and Cartwright had a falling out. In May 2022, Cartwright and her husband Jax Taylor canceled plans at the last minute to go to Schroeder’s wedding in Italy.

Cartwright later addressed the drama at Shay’sPodcast “Scheananagins with Scheana Shay”.where she explained why Taylor complained about the wedding invitation in an “anger” text message to another wedding guest.

“Jax started getting into his head and getting upset about flying with the baby,” she explained. “You know how he just texts and rages. …He shouldn’t have done it. I was very angry with him. I apologized… They were so mad at us and didn’t talk to us.”

Cartwright also explained that while the couple’s decision to go to the wedding was made “to the last minute,” their 1-year-old son Cruz’s passport ended up not arriving in time for them to go. “I felt so bad, and I still feel bad,” Cartwright said. “I’m just trying to give her time. Maybe we can talk about that in a few months.”

In October 2022, Schroeder also spoke up – and made it clear that she had said goodbye to her friendship with Cartwright.

“I think it’s perfectly fine that we all don’t talk,” Schroeder continued the podcast “Not skinny but not fat”.. “I don’t talk to them anymore. That’s good. Like not everyone is destined to be friends forever and just because I’ve been on a show with people it’s like people think those are the only people in my life because we were co-workers.
