Scout Willis cut a casual figure as she went shopping while out and about in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

The daughter of Hollywood stars Demi Moore and Bruce Willis teamed the look with a pair of Chelsea boots as she stepped out into the California sun.

Calling the song “a love letter to sacred female fury,” Willis directed an intimate music video she co-directed, in which she dances through a house while her sultry vocals play over an acoustic guitar.
“This song is an ode to female creativity, sexuality and freedom, to the idea that I can be anything without hiding or holding back anything about myself,” she said in a statement, as reported by Persons.
She added, “I wrote this song with an almost prescient clarity, accurately describing the arc of a relationship I would not enter into for months after writing it.”

The album was released on Friday, June 24, which she celebrated two days later with a party and performance at Scout’s General Store in Los Angeles.
After giving Willis a little over a week to reflect on all the hard work that had gone into the project, Willis confessed that the release day was “as cheery as if it were my birthday, but a birthday when I was just a little kid!”
However, she began to wonder how much she could actually be celebrating after learning the US Supreme Court reversed Roe Vs. Wade (1973) leaving women’s right to abortion to the states.

“I had a lot of guilt thinking about celebrating on a day of so much collective sadness, fear and anger,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Friday, July 1. “And then I had to ask myself, can I do this? exist in this duality, carrying both the joy and pride of my accomplishment and the collective pain?’
After struggling with her thoughts and emotions, “Scout realized I could, and indeed I could be of far better service while maintaining that duality.”
She added: “So with this album, I promise to serve with my life, mind, body and soul from a place of grounding, deep compassion, empathy, love, joy and pleasure.
She ended her post by thanking everyone who attended the record release party and performance, as well as those who “celebrated it from afar”.
Reflecting: Scout took to Instagram in July reflecting on all the hard work it took to complete the writing and recording of her debut studio album, consisting of 11 songs
