The couple faces each other in court after the actor sued his ex-wife for $50 million over an opinion piece she wrote The Washington Post in 2018, in which she claimed to have experienced domestic violence.
amber is contradict for $100 million and the trial is in Fairfax County Circuit Court.

Johnny and Amber married in 2015
That Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The actor met his future wife on the set of the 2011 film The rum diaryin which both played.
At that time, the actor was still in a relationship with Vanessa Paradis. However, they announced their amicable split shortly after, in 2012.
Johnny and Amber began dating in late 2011 before getting engaged in December 2013. They then married in a private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles in February 2015.
A few days later they flew to the Bahamas for a second dream wedding. The marriage didn’t last very long, however, and Amber filed for divorce in May 2016.
As reported by The IndependentThe actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
At her wedding in the Bahamas
With a small guest list consisting of only a few of their closest family and friends, Johnny and Amber flew to his private island in the Bahamas, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, for their magical wedding.
They stood under a white arch on the beach as they exchanged their vows for the second time, with the actress wearing a traditional white long-sleeved wedding dress and Johnny a white tuxedo jacket.
“Johnny’s private island is a tropical paradise. Wedding guests were treated to a fantastic weekend that ended with a romantic beachside ceremony,” a source said PEOPLE.

“Guests relaxed on the beaches, enjoyed snorkeling and enjoyed the food prepared by private chefs. Everyone seemed to be having the best time. It was a very celebratory mood,” they added.
The insider also revealed that the “weather was perfect” and “the beachfront setting was beautiful,” before describing it all as “beach casual and intimate but very romantic.”
There was no press at the wedding and no photos were released, but drones captured some moments from afar.

The actor’s private island
The couple married on Johnny Depp’s private island, which he Bought for a whopping $3.6 million in 2004.
He reportedly spotted the stunning wildlife-filled spot while filming Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003.
Called Little Hall’s Pond Caym, the island had no infrastructure, just 45 acres of land and six stunning beaches, which he named after his closest friends and family.
Located about 60 miles from Nassau in the Exumas Archipelago, the island is eco-friendly and has only solar-powered buildings.
