Shakey J’s Diner owners share business update
Shakey J’s Family Dining opened on Newton High Street in January as the six-year-old establishment moved to its new location with a complete rebrand.
The shop has moved from its original location down the road to the former Café Chouxchouxbedoo.

Claire Maguire, co-owner of the new diner, said: “It was amazing. We were so lucky to have the community support and the reviews were great.
“It went down really well; exactly what we imagined for a family restaurant.

“It’s really strange because we’ve been in the old premises for six years and I cried at the thought of leaving, but now we’re definitely not looking back.
“This one definitely feels like home already.”

The family-friendly diner is suitable for all ages as it offers Shakey J’s signature milkshakes and sweet treats, as well as Chouxchouxbedoo classics including hot drinks and a breakfast menu.
The diner also serves delicious dishes like burgers and loaded fries.
In the former premises of Shakey J, a new company will take its place.
