Shannen Doherty gives emotional cancer update – and gets a standing ovation! Regard!

Shannen Doherty gives free rein to her feelings.
Over the weekend, the fan-favorite actress made an appearance on 90s Con in Tampa, Florida, and tears actually flowed – and not just from the fans! The 52-year-old made a name for herself with the successful teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210She took her place next to her co-stars Tori spelling, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian ZieringAnd Gabrielle Carteris for the star-studded event where she gave fans an update on her scary battle with stage 4 breast cancer. She explained loudly People:
“I have a fight for my life that I deal with every day.”
How terrifying. Shannen was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, but went into remission just two years later. However, three years later, in 2020, she revealed that it had come back. In early June this year, she sadly shared that the disease had spread to her brain.

Elsewhere during the 90s Con showcase, the Charmed The actress received a standing ovation from fans that brought tears to her eyes. She told the crowd:
“Thank you so much. You know how much I love crying all the time. And apparently I do too. So thank you very much.”

However, she stopped on a humorous note, poking fun at her divorce from her third husband in April Kurt Iswarienko. The Mallrats Actress joked:
“My other job is getting engaged, married and divorced, and I do that very well.”

“She’s doing great. She is resilient. I mean, if anyone I know has to deal with what she’s dealing with, she’s the one who can get through it.”
