Shannon Beador denied having a drinking problem days before the drunk driving and hit-and-run arrest!
Less than a week ago, Shannon Beador insisted she didn’t have a drinking problem! And now she’s been arrested for drunk driving. Wow…
In an interview with her friend Vicki Gunvalson on Wednesday, the 39-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County The star criticized “inaccurate” claims about her alleged drinking problems that were made against her during season 17 Gina Kirschenheiter. she said Us weekly:
“Let’s look at other people on the show this season who drank a lot.”

In an episode in August, Shannon claimed she saved Gina’s children from being kidnapped CPS after an arrest for driving under the influence in 2019, but when the allegations came up in the group, she denied ever saying it. In a confessional, the angry friend argued:
“Shannon says shit and then she wants to pretend like she didn’t do it, and when you can say things that are so fucking hurtful and can’t even remember you said it, you fucking have to let’s go. *King, get checked into rehab.”
Good Lord.
Then she told it Us:
“I don’t care if Shannon wants to say she has a drinking problem or not. I’m not here to judge or diagnose anyone, but… their drinking is a problem for everyone else.”
So this seems to have been a problem for many for some time! But Vicki stood by Shannon’s side last week when she also told outlet viewers Bravo I just don’t see the whole picture and share:
“I hate to say this: the show promotes fun and some alcohol. And we can control what we put into our bodies. … It’s just the way it is when you’re shooting seven hours a day and one [hour] of that or half an hour of that is really going for it, that’s what they’re going to show because that’s fun.”
She also joked that just because Shannon “knows how to act it up for the cameras,” doesn’t mean her behavior should be used as a “storyline.”
But now? It’s another story…
As we reported, the reality star was arrested Saturday night and charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run after she ran over a home in Newport Beach. She was released without bail, but her car was seized by authorities as part of the crash investigation. She was previously accused of drunkenly swearing at dinner with her ex-boyfriend John JanssenHe reportedly “yells” at his daughter and gets them all “removed” from a bar in Cali.
