Erin Napier on Sunday had fans swooning over her husband Ben, who uploaded an Instagram photo of him building travel easels for her and their daughters. While some fans simply praised the HGTV star’s kind gesture to his family, many were surprised — and clearly delighted — by the rare sight of shirtless Ben, hunched over one of the easels with bare shoulders and a full back.

Erin recently shared via social media that Ben, with whom she shares two daughters – Helen, five, and Mae, almost two – has lost a significant amount of weight in recent months while setting up a home gym while he’s awaiting shoulder surgery due to a torn rotator cuff. His new physique has made fans’ hearts leap for joy, drawing many amusing responses to his unusually flannel-free photo.

On March 6, 2023, Erin posted the cute and, some would argue, sultry photo of her woodworker husband finishing his latest family project — a set of three easels that she and her girls can fold up and take painting with them wherever they go.

Erin wrote in the caption, “While we were napping @scotsman.co built us girls travel easels.”

This cute gesture, combined with Ben’s toned, freckled shoulders and back, sent her followers into a certain frenzy, leaving amusing comments about the rare sight of him shirtless.

Redhead Ben’s rugged good looks haven’t gone unnoticed by fans since “Home Town” debuted on HGTV in 2016. In 2021, People magazine picked him up his Sexiest Men Alive issueprompting his wife to rush to CVS to buy a copy.

Ben too shared a photo on Instagram at the time, but they were flowers sent to Erin by Kathleen Finch, the boss of HGTV’s parent company, Warner Brothers Discovery. His photo showed the note she sent him, which read, “Erin, congratulations on marrying one of People’s sexiest men. You go girl!”

Ben captioned the photo: “You are all praying for @erinapier. This award is more of a burden for them. You will never hear the end of it. @people #peoplesexiestmanalive #trophyhusband”

When he donned a kilt his mother made on an episode of “Home Town” in December, fans raved to catch a glimpse of his bare legs he joked to people was his attempt to get back on the Sexiest Men Alive list.

Ben Napier has been training ahead of shoulder surgery

A few days before she posted the photo of her shirtless husband, Erin was revealed in a March 2nd post that Ben has exercised, lost weight and improved his blood pressure. She shared a photo of him on the floor of his gym playing with her girls and another of him posing for the camera looking groomed.

Erin wrote, “Somehow even though we have a torn rotator cuff and we barge in daily and slow him down, @scotsman.co built a gym in the barn and lost a lot of pounds. and holy smoke what a baby with good blood pressure”

When a fan asked in the comments if Ben should have surgery for his torn rotator cuff, Erin responded with a frowning emoji, “Yes he is.”

But many followers praised Ben for prioritizing his health and congratulated him on his results.

One wrote: “This is amazing!!!! It is so important to prioritize OUR health. We must be there for our families in good health. Keep it up Ben!”

This isn’t the first time Ben has worked hard to achieve a healthier weight. 2019, loud country life, The woodworker lost 55 pounds inspired by the birth of daughter Helen to be healthier.

2018 he has wrote on her Laurel Mercantile Blog that he didn’t want to become another statistic in his family. His mother’s father died of a stroke when she was just 17, and both his father and paternal grandfather underwent open-heart surgery.

He wrote, “Having Helen has made me want to be healthier so I can be around a lot longer and see her grow up and see her whole life.”
